Been dwelling on this verse lately, the idea of loving God with everything I got and loving others as much as I love myself. “Everything” or “all of me”… is quite a bit. Following Jesus is not really something to be done casually, half-heartedly, or distractedly. But thankfully he is the most awesome one ever, so he actually is worthy of all that dedication. I hope I discover what this verse means more and more each day =)

This verse is an interesting reminder, as I find knowledge of God’s law is so scarce these days, but this verse says it is perfect and revives the soul. God’s word is trustworthy and beneficial, through it I’ve learned so much. God’s law corrects me, humbles me, and shows me how much I need a Saviour. I’m definitely grateful for His word!

This verse is a good reminder of what God really desires of us. He doesn’t want us to prioritize following rules. Instead, he wants us to simply value justice and the love of God. When we do that, it will be natural to live in obedience to him because we love him.

This verse reminds me that a day is coming where we must give account to all that has happened in our life. Our thoughts, actions, words, God knows all of them and there is no where to hide before a perfect and righteous judge.
A bustier-shaped tank with a sweetheart neckline, and the absence of overwhelming cleavage.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1zww9-gvrM
Materials: 1 m fabric, with some stretch
Time: 1-2 hours
Tips: I got my bustier pattern pieces from this picture.
To fit it to your body shape, the width of the pattern at chest height needs to be your widest chest measurement plus 8 cm for safety.
The width of the pattern at base height needs to be your hips plus 8 cm for safety.
Divide those measurements by 3 and allocate them to the four pieces (the chest and back share one of the three, so it’s more like 0.5+1+1+0.5).
After that, adjust the middle and armpit areas using darts. Click here to learn how to sew a dart.
Make preliminary stitches with a long stitch so they’re easy to rip out if they’re off. Be patient as you adjust the fit, it will soon become uniquely yours.
Wear it with: High-waisted and/or baggy bottoms, it balances well. Pop on a jacket when it’s a bit cold!

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
There is something so beautiful about Jesus’ genuine heart. There are times when I feel like I have been working all day and I am on the brink of total exhaustion. But Jesus reminds me that working for him is different. He is gentle, and I will find rest in him. It’s a comforting truth, I hope you may be comforted too =)
