This is a telephone sweater inspired by Jeremy Scott’s designs for Adidas, popularized by Korean band “2NE1”.  I know the original had a printed design, but I opted to sew the squares on for texture purposes.

Watch on Youtube.

View how to make the cuffs here.

Materials: 2 m of fabric of your choice (should have some stretch) coordinating applique fabric, 0.3 m matching knit ribbing

Time: 1 hour

Tips: Just remember, it’s a regular sweater with stuff sewn to the front.

Wear it with: Shorts or leggings

Where did we come from?  God is our creator and once we are saved, he has good works for us to do.  It’s such a rewarding thing.  But before we are saved, “all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6).  There’s not a single thing we can do that is acceptable or pleasing to God because its source is a filthy spirit despite all the attempts to look good on the outside.  I really encourage us to examine what our standard of “good” is, because what we’ve collectively deemed acceptable can’t really compare to God’s definition: moral perfection in thought, word, and deed.  None of us are good, none of us can do good =( unless we are changed by God into a new creation, unless we exchange our filthy rag-ness for fresh cloth.
